Do you have a lived experience of trauma care in Queensland and six months’ experience on a health committee?

Clinical Excellence Queensland (CEQ) invites one health consumer or carer representative to participate on the Steering Committee for the Queensland Trauma Clinical Network (QTCN).

The QTCN is a group of clinicians from multiple disciplines that help provide expert direction and advice on the delivery and enhancement of trauma services in Queensland. The QTCN reports to the Executive Director of the Healthcare Improvement Unit, within Clinical Excellence Queensland, Queensland Health.

Key areas of focus include clinical service review, evidence-based practice, research and quality improvement, education and training, and data collection/reporting.

The QTCN Steering Committee membership includes clinicians experienced in trauma care across the continuum of care, a consumer representative and representatives from General Practice, research institutes, pre-hospital and retrieval services and the Australian Defence Force.
