Join an independent review panel to establish child mental health and wellbeing hub services in Queensland

The Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Strategy and Planning Branch (MHAOD SPB) invites one consumer or carer representative to join a new Independent Review Panel. The panel will provide advice in the EOI process to identify Lead Providers who will establish and operationalise the Head to Health Kids Service in Queensland.

The Head to Health Kids Service in Queensland will be designed and operate as a child mental health and wellbeing service for children aged 0-12 and their families, targeting mild to moderate emerging complexity.

This opportunity would suit a consumer/ carer representative with:

  • extensive level committee experience, or review panels either at the Hospital and Health Service, or Statewide level. For example, your local Hospital and Health Service (HHS), community organisations, Primary Health Networks (PHNs), research organisations or at a Statewide Level such the Department of Health.
  • experience on committees related to child, youth, family health, mental health and wellbeing service development or delivery.
  • experience in health as a consumer (with lived childhood experience), or parent or carer.
