When seeking health information online, its important to be savvy. Heres a quick guide to help you spot reliable sources:

1️⃣ Relevance: Look for info thats tailored to your needs, Australian-based, and connects you to local services.

2️⃣ Trustworthy sources: Check if its from experts or credible organizations, supported by evidence, and regularly updated. Universities, consumer organisations and Australian and Queensland government are a good place to start.

3️⚠️ Warning signs: Beware of sales pitches, fear tactics, asking for your personal details, limited options, or reliance on isolated cases. If you cant find who wrote the website content or who is funding it, its best to steer clear.
